Meghan McGowan is a writer and editor from the Greater New York City area. She developed a love of reading and writing as a child, and in high school she discovered that she had a talent for improving the writing of others. There is nothing she loves more than sitting down with a new manuscript and a red pen. She lives at home in New Jersey, where she spends her free time enjoying good books and secretly enjoying bad TV shows.

She attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing and took part in the student literary magazine, Ironhorse, and an internship at The Literary Review. Her education honed her skills as a writer, editor, and general communicator, and her experience in literary magazines led her to a greater understanding of the publishing process.
